Named allocated GP

All practices are required to provide their patients with a named registered GP.  Your allocated named GP has overall responsibility for your care and support from the practice.  However, you are free to choose to see any GP at the practice (subject to their availability).

If you would like to know who your named GP is, please ask a receptionist.  This information is also displayed on the top right hand side of your repeat prescription slip.

If you have a genuine concern that your allocated GP is not best placed to undertake the responsibilities assigned, then you can ask to be reallocated to a different GP.
